Regression fixes, backend updates and improvements – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 2.0.1295.3

Still didn't fix (VB-42595) "Cycling tabs in MRU order with tab cycler disabled sometimes cycles incorrectly". Is nobody else having this problem? It's super annoying to me.
Also this version does appear to fix VB-41770, VB-42463, VB-41769.

As mentioned previously, mouse gestures seem to occasionally stop working. I'm not sure what triggers this. It tends to be when I have a lot of tabs open or loading.
However, one work around seems to be to open a new tab to get to the Speed Dial (maybe any internal page would work), and then performing a mouse gesture. This seems to 're-enable' mouse gestures for me.

@luetage: I really like the minimum tab width. It makes navigation a lot easier when you have many tabs open. Very useful addition.
-
@lonm: Yep, same here. Open in New Tab with swipe down is not working correctly anymore.
-
Capture Full Page is still not working. Visible part is captured but the rest is black.
/modedit: No need to demonstrate. This is a known issue and actively being worked on.
-
@xyzzy I can confirm increased crashes in this version when I open many tabs at once. The good thing is that the session info is not lost and Vivaldi remembers all windows and tabs.
-
@deyirn: That's a pretty annoying bug and it's been present for a long time now. Somewhere I read that it has something to do with Windows itself, but I don't know, I have the exactly same problems on Linux as well. Hopefully it will get fixed soon.
-
Almost there. Still two features that I really want before I could move to Vivaldi:
- Context menu for subfolders in the bookmarks bar
- Save a webpage to PDF
-
@deyirn As noted above it is fixed for Windows 10: OS Build 17134.228 If you are still using Windows 7 (or other OS) then you won't notice any change.
-
@luetage: Is this feature like this request? : https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/29328/make-the-current-tab-larger-than-others
-
@floweringmind: Can't reproduce with that site either but I can reproduce it consistently with a Udemy video playing in one window. When I click on the video the current tab on the other window goes blank.
EDIT
Can't reproduce it now. There seems to be more to it that is triggering this behaviour.
Windows 10/ Vivaldi 64bit

Save webpage to pdf already exists. You just go to print and instead of selecting a printer, select "Save as PDF"
-
@neltherion Yeah, that's it. The selected tab is bigger when you have many tabs.
-
In the dev tools, the "what's new" tab shows Chrome 68, not 69.
-
@gwen-dragon Ah OK. I guess the chrome devs haven't got anything interesting to show off.
-
@jeancremers Could you get a screenshot to show what you mean by "distorted"?
-
@dragonmastr: i can confirm sporadically crash on closing tabs with 2.0.1295.3
-
What's the status about "download bomb" vulnerability after last Chromium updates?
-
@pesala: You gotta luv that response!!!
-
@richdark: Yeah, it's a shame, because until it's fixed, I can't use Vivaldi. Every time I install a new snapshot to see what is different, first I check if the bug is still present and if it is, I quickly uninstall it and wait a few months.
