Vivaldi 1.11 – Focus on accessibility
-
...and fixed.
-
How about instead refraining from using stupid emoji things in mails?
-
@asianmusicguy Media is important, that's why there's a new developer that is working full time on it, nothing else. I just think there's nothing more needed on this bug except wait for the dev to finish, debug and test the patch.
-
@JSJB As @gwen-dragon is asking the most strange part is that the whole subject is:
️ Vivaldi 1.11 is here
️
It's really weird all the words disappeared but not the emoji.

I see the two release notes about search engines and the end of the search list, but I don't quite get the purpose of it.
The end result here is that at the end of my list, I had a couple search engines that I had deleted, and I had about three "new" ones that already existed at the top of the list. I hope this doesn't happen with every upgrade, whatever it is.

Can you make another option for the animations? Playing gif's only when it showing.
When scrolling the pages, when an animation appears, it starts to play from the beginning..
As in the good old Opera. -
@miky: Sneak me a fixed build, i'll give you some good nuts for it, cashew nuts, they're good.
PM me if interested. -
Hey Vivaldi-Team,
Got an extension question. I'm trying to use the builtin screenshot, and if I turn on the developer flags and run through the console, I can do it, but the extension won't do it, even with the flags.Running like this:
vivaldi-snapshot --flag-switches-begin --debug-packed-apps --silent-debugger-extension-api --flag-switches-endthe extension is a simple click and populate an area on the screen then:
<code>
var ui_buttons = document.getElementsByClassName('button-toolbar-small')
for (var button = 0; button < ui_buttons.length; button++) {
if (ui_buttons[button].title === "Capture Page") {
ui_buttons[button].click()
clicky = document.getElementsByClassName('capture-button')[0].getElementsByTagName('input')[0]
clicky.click()
}
}
</code>Any good ideas on how to do it? html2canvas doesn't write files, so it's no good for this, and I'm not a good enough js dev to figure out how to call the a.onCaptureFullpage directly.

any improvements to gestures only remind about lack of visual clue - color line to depict what are you drawing would make use of gestures much more comfortable.!
yet, why can't i log-in on main blog page? or better to say i log in but nothing indicates this(becomes obvious only after going to forum) and i can't make comment directly there under news = after seemingly log-in, page reload, comment field still shows "log-in or register".

@JSJB And mine looks like this:

@JSJB Appearance from a different email client:

@JSJB From the GMail interface:
-
@JSJB Another client:
So your email provider deserves congratulations for having been able to produce that effect!
-
@Nekomajin It does really stand out - black on white on the page I'm looking at. I think it should be different enough to look like a toolbar, but, like most things, the details should be user configurable. For now, though, I'm just happy it's there at all.
-
@CptGuapo Can't see why you would not do so. Anyway, is it already fixed? At least when I tried to go to mail.yahoo.com it showed a login page.
-
@karst124
You absolutely right. The old icon was better than the new one. -
Thanks for the new release!
But where is the email client that you have promised for several years?
It might be worth mentioning that the old Vivaldi icon was much better than the new one. -
@gruz7848 The email client is still under use, testing and refinement internally. It's not a big project. It's a huge one. It will be released when it's ready.
Thank you for your PERSONAL OPINION on the icon. Unless/until the designers decide on something different, it will remain.
-
@Ayespy
This is not only my PERSONAL OPINION. Read carefully this blog and you will see that most people have the same opinion. -
@gruz7848 That's a vocal minority. If you really dislike the icon that much you can easily exchange it wherever it is used.
