Export Bookmark Description and Bookmark Bar/Speed Dial options
When I import bookmarks from a Vivaldi installation to other one it could copy the Description field too and which folders are marked as "show on bookmark bar" and/or "show on speed dial"

Screenshot feature improvement
I suggest some things:
if possible, I could save in video format too. Or GIF one.
- Add any mouse gesture/keyboard command to it
- Choose where to save the capture, or defining other place to be saved by default or/and choose where to save when captures.- Save in a date/time format

@aderitobonito See my somewhat similar request for sticky cookies.

@elricks I don't want to hijack your request, but when I select Print, it doesn't even have the X. It just sits there until it's ready to display the print dialog. A spinner would be nice for this as well.
As of 1.8 or just before, they did some serious magic to make the print dialog appear much faster, so it's not as big of an issue as it was before. I had some pages taking 7 minutes to display the print dialog and now it's a few seconds.

@Al-Khwarizmi Does the same on Linux. I thought it was rather odd too.
-
@Pesala I do not see that on Linux. That's the way I would like it to be.
-
@Pesala Yup. That works. Thanks! Issue solved.

Add a shortcut to "Show/Hide" images...

Integrate 'Find in Page' with Search UI
The search box has a neat drop-down to select between different search engines. I think it would be cool to have some 'internal' search engines added to this list. Simplest would be an alternative UI for 'Find in Page'. But the concept could be extended for example with 'Find in all tabs', 'Find in History' etc.
As well as allowing for added features while avoiding UI bloat, this would provide for an integrated search history. It would be easy for example to first search for a given text in the open tabs and if you failed to find it there expand the search out onto the internet. -
Multiple bookmarks edit
Sometimes sites add (or delete) support https or change domain name.

Bring back an easy way to access the SSL/TLS information.
With older versions of Vivaldi it was possible to get the certificate information, the used protocols, algorithms and the key strength by clicking on the padlock in the address bar and "Details". Now there's a link there to a "pretty useless" Chrome help site explaining the meaning of the icons.By the way the German Federal Office for Information Security lately published a table with basic requirements for secure web browsers [sorry, I couldn't find an English version] and Edge failed, because it's not possible there to display the used protocol and cypher suite, while Chrome 56 and therefore older Vivaldi passed this.

@Swizz540 There is extention for your request.

Would like for links to load in web panels if possible.
So if you have YouTube as a web panel, clicking YouTube links would load in its panel and maybe even auto expand it.

@TMSxVivaldi What browse those this? Opera or Firefox maybe? I tried it in Neon, Chrome, and Brave and didn't have any luck.

I would like to see some option to save a page as web archive (i.e. there once was a .war format, i think it was more or less a zip and the saving browser rewrote urls in the html files) and then not only save it to the pc, but for example store it in notes. This way you could create a note, which is not just a full page screenshot (requestes in the last news article), but contains a searchable html file.
Thich can be used as snapshot i.e. to reference an fixed version of a website in articles or just preserve the site for when its gone. Saving as html + images is a bit clumsy and quite a few steps. A single "take snapshot" (or if you want so "create note") button which stores the page and allows "save as web-archive file" later for exporting it would be a cool feature.

Fix the menu behaviour to be more closely to native gui:
Problem:
- enable the normal menu bar
- open a menu
- move your cursor over some other menu item in the main menu bar
Then the old menu stays open. All toolkits i now, as Gtk, Qt, native windows gui, ... then open the new menu. Here it needs TWO more clicks. Click the new menu (old ones closes), click the new menu again (new one opens).
Another issue: double click right of the menu items and the window is un-maximized. There should be a switch to turn this off (i hate UIs, which do unpredictable things) and it should be consistent (another double click won't maximize vivaldi again).

There should be a switch to turn this off
Even Notepad does this. It's a universal Windows behaviour for double-click on title bar. Double-click does maximise the window again.

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/https-everywhere/gcbommkclmclpchllfjekcdonpmejbdp?hl=en-USHello,
This is not a very good extension.
It must first list the sites.
The right technique would be this: https://github.com/kevinjacobs/HTTPS-Findercordially

Editable context menus (including the ones in the vivaldi button)
Edit the order of the menu items, and remove items you don't use frequently.
Can help those who are used to opening a background tab as the first item of the menu, or get to incognito mode quicker by placing that item in the vivaldi button menu right away.
