Youtube | Block Ads with Native Ad Blocker

@TomHatz
Hi, just install uBlock Origin and disable the Vivaldi ad blocker.
You can tune the internal blocker with extra lists and a script extension but it need some work.
It is an endless war between blockers and YT, search for
"brave browser gets blocked on Youtube"
and you will find hundreds of reports.Cheers, mib

@TomHatz At the moment the internal Vivaldi ad blocker blocks youtube ads successfully. Tested on a fresh standalone install by enabling the blocker and keeping all else default. But yeah, this could change any day of course, depends on the enabled lists, update status, possibly your region, and what youtube is up to. Every browser struggles with this, without exception. Even Firefox.

Wrong, it's https://ublockorigin.com
uBlock WAS the original name but went downhill for various reasons, so the author recreated it as uBlock Origin. -

You committed an almost mortal sin.

At this moment, the extension cannot be installed as the latest Vivaldi version (7.0.3495.27) seems to have a bug where it does not detect the end of downloads. It's as if downloads remained in a perpetual "ongoing" state. All files I've downloaded today suffered from this.
[EDIT] I ended up installing the extension manually by dragging and dropping the crx file into the Extensions page. -

You mean by editing the post? I have added a line stating it was edited and what the reason for the edit was.
