      Add Button Option To Trigger Feature Updates ads and trackers in vivaldi settings menu

        And a toggle for auto-refresh lists and manual mode! Even better, add a custom timeout between updates if automatic is enabled: not everyone needs frequent updates, some people just need to check them once every 1-2 weeks.

          @far4 Most lists are updated every 'x' days, some once a week. Vivaldi should check them every 24 hours by default. About checking less often... couldn't be a good idea. Old rules will break sites.

            I've never encountered such a problem. Perhaps it is purely theoretical or the blocking lists must be very outdated, literally a year or more out of date.

              @far4 Is a general rule, in most cases would be fine. But think to a site which often changes their cookies banners or the ad blocking schema. Will be likely be borked by even slightly outdated lists.
