Change pinned tab size for mutable tabs
-
I don't post often on forums so I'm hoping I'm posting to the right category and following proper etiquette.
Currently pinned tabs that play music are a little fiddly to use. I have a pinned tab that plays my music. When I want to switch to that tab, I have to be very precise where to click, since the tab size is small and the mute button takes a big portion of the clickable space.
I would like to be able to easily navigate to the tab, maybe by first hovering over the pinned tab and then selecting the tab in a preview menu, just like pinned stacks.

@Holroy This is the right place to post. There is a similar request for Tab Stack and Pinned Tab Width.
It is a matter of knowing how to point to the right place.
- If the tabs are on the side, there is no issue because the pinned tabs are as wide as regular tabs
- If the tab is at the top of a maximised window, there is no problem because the tab has infinite height.
- If the tab is at the right of a maximised window, there is no problem because the tab has infinite width.
I hope that helps.

@Pesala thank you for your response.
I fixed my problem by stacking my email and music into a pinned stack so I get the previews of the tabs. It's not ideal but I want to have my tabs remaining on the top site and don't use maximised windows since I use a ultrawide.
Thus far I'm very satisfied by the tab organization functionality of Vivaldi, but this does seem like a bandaid workaround.
