Use Shift+Click instead of Ctrl+Shift+Click to open in a new window
-
Hello. I would like to use the same shortcut as in Chrome to open a link in a new window. In Chrome, it was simply Shift+Click. But it seems that you need to do Ctrl+Shift+Click in Vivaldi. Where can I change this shortcut?

@mjthoraval Shift+Click is used to Open a Link in a New Tab. Ctrl+Click is used to open links in a new Background Tab.
I think opening new windows is a much less common requirement so it makes sense to assign the simpler shortcuts to the most commonly used actions.
The modifier+shortcut-keys are not currently editable. Vote for Keyboard+Mouse Shortcuts. It currently has only six votes. I think that it could be very useful.

@Pesala Thank you for your detailed reply.
I understand your point. But it is a bit surprising that the browser that wants to stand out for its customizable UI does not allow the user to change such a simple shortcut.
