Facebook is too slow
-
Whenever I type or scroll posts or messages on Facebook, the site lags so bad.

@BeemoKincaid
Hi, no reports about lagging in Facebook from other user lately.Please test this in a private window or the guest view, this except extensions and use the default settings.

@BeemoKincaid It's normal here. Do you run any extensions?

Vivaldi updated for me a few days ago and now it's painfully slow when typing into some Facebook edit boxes. (The whole page freezes while I type and updates about five seconds after I stop.)
Using Vivaldi version 6.1.3035.204 (Stable channel) (32-bit).
Other users have reported this in years gone by and attributed it to Ad Block Plus. But I'm not using that.
It also seems to be a bit random too. When a Facebook page first loads, everything is fine. Scroll down the feed a bit, and suddenly typing into a comment kills the browser.
Trying to grab a callstack of the heaviest thread in Process Explorer, gives me a single entry for the process which is burning through a couple of my CPU cores:
vivaldi.dll!sqlite3_dbdata_init+0x184e760
(And repeated grabs give me different locations in that same function.)

@CrazyDef
Hi, after every major update we get these reports in the forum but only from some user.
If all users have this issues the forum would be flooded with messages.
Mostly the reasons are:- An extension does not work correctly after an update
- A third party security software blocks Vivaldi as unknown software
- And the worst case, the profile gets corrupted after the update
You can test the profile and the extensions problem with a new profile or the guest profile.

I have experienced slowness/lagginess in Vivaldi (versus Brave and Google Chrome) when scrolling down further in my Facebook Memories page and seeking to repost item(s) from years gone by there.
