Discord Rich Presence

A lot of games and apps have Discrod rich presence. Here is example where AIMP player shows what I'm listening to and remaining time in discord rich presence:

I want to see something like this in Vivaldi. It can maybe show the title of current active tab and how much time Vivaldi is opened. This can make Vivaldi more popular.

@notmalware How is this related to Vivaldi? You can already use Discord in Vivaldi, the »rich presence« compatibility needs to be implemented by game developers, on the Discord side it should work, obviously.

@notmalware, I've a Discord account because of Andisearch support and I know that Vivaldi is already present there, but abandoned since 2021 with only 5 posts (1 user and 1 bot in "Rules" as only thread). Because of this I think that its presence there don't make much sense.

Anyway, the privacy of Discord is debatible (It sends Userdata to Google/Alphabet and Amazon), which also isn't in the philosophy of Vivaldi.

@Catweazle Not quite sure I understand what you mean, but there's a Vivaldi Discord server run by community members that's pretty active. Definitely not abandoned. The server is even linked on the official Vivaldi homepage (at the bottom of the help section)

@notmalware, anyway is valid what was sid in the comments, Discord isn't an indicated site for Vivaldi where user data is shared with third party advertisers.

@notmalware I already looked it up the first time, your initial post was misleading indeed. Well yeah, Vivaldi could probably do this. Why anybody would want to show that kind of information I will probably never understand.

I would guess an extension could work - I found this. Might be worth looking at as I doubt vivaldi would implement this.

@mtaki14, the link goes direct to the Vivaldi server which I mencioned before. Last post from 2021, one user and one Bot and the only Thread the Rules, nothing more.

@WildEnte, clicking the link which mentioned @mtaki14, this lead me to the invitation page of Discord and after this to the page of the screenshot which I already are logged since time (without posting, after I saw the mencioned cero activity).
Anyway, it isn't so important for me, I've enough with the Forum and Fediverse
