How do I get rid of the horizontal menu and move my tab bar up to gain the space it leaves behind.
-
Currently want to get rid of the horizontal main menu but no matter what method I use it leaves a gap above my tab bar. Changing the horizontal menu into the Vivaldi logo does not work as it still leaves the gap there. I have tried to remove the horizontal menu with this css but it removes the tab bar along with it.
#header {
display: none !important;

Hi, do you meant this:Ctrl+M disable/enable it, the global setting is in:
vivaldi://settings/appearance/Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin "Changing the horizontal menu into the Vivaldi logo does not work as it still leaves the gap" While it does remove the horizontal menu it still leaves a huge gap
-
@dam88 i get that using powertoys fancyzones - if your using that try editing your zone and removing "space around zones"
-
@room2studio I am using it I have 0 pixels around the zones but it does not change
-
@dam88 k,was worth a shot ... had this also with WinaeroTweaker - the padding and theme settings
also with old Winlayout,and any other app that resizes windows/folders (like strokes plus)
edit:- doubt you'd be using DisplayFusion (those other options
in it are still handy),that does it too -
@room2studio yea I managed to reduce the padding a little by changing the winaerotweaker window bording padding to 0. But I still have a pretty big gap as seen in the screenshot. I think it has more to do with my vivaldi UI interface zoom as my lower percentage makes the gap bigger. Thanks for your recommendations.

@dam88 did you check the FancyZones "windows open at last positions" option checked before changing? - easy to miss - try re-snapping em with the modifier key

@dam88
It is a bit hard to see what you mean in your screen shot, I guess you mean the gap in non maximized windows?
There is no gap in a maximized window.May you ask i the modding section if is possible to remove this with CSS.

@mib2berlin The gap above the tab bar stays there whether im in maximized mode or not. I will take your suggestion and put it in the modifications category.
