@DanZellman Probably an ebay cookie already stored the unsupported browser information before the change. Btw, now it will work πŸ˜‰

This is the pop up I get when visiting Ebay:
"Oh No! Update your browser today! Starting June 30, your favorite sites won’t support outdated, unsecure browsers for online shopping. Update Now."
I clicked the "Update Now" link and got a list of the "updated" browsers. Vivaldi is not included. Will we have difficulties with Ebay in the future? Will Vivaldi be included in the "updated" browser list?![alt text](image url)

@BriKyKo if answering the first time in a thread, do not forget to tell browser version and OS version (both see Vivaldi menu Help β†’ About).

              The current version is: 6.1.3035.84.
Select Vivaldi menu Help β†’ Check for Updates.

                Hi sorry.
                6.1.3035.84 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
I just updated today, so it is the latest version. I did visit the Ebay site after and the popup/banner of the warning was still there. Thanks.

Perhaps you get this injected hint only for residents of USA.
I do not see it from Germany.

@BriKyKo Thais is a regular and correct user-agent.

//EDIT: Can you check Settings β†’ Network?
Should be "Report Browser Brand" as "Google

Im thinking this is just a notice that will remain till June 30th. I know Vivaldi does not show up on the "updated" browser list but do you think this will matter? I will see on June 30th as I dont plan on changing browsers. I love Vivaldi too much 😁

@BriKyKo Vivaldi is not shown because Ebay had not listed it.
But as Vivaldi is similar to Chromium/Chrome all should be nice after 30th of June.

Yes I did change it. I was going through the settings and saw it set to Google and I thought: "Wait this is Vivaldi" and so changed it to Vivaldi.
