Maintain main workspaces title

The workspaces feature is huge for me. One thing that is a little annoying, is that when I move to a new workspace the title of the default workspace changes to the active tab in that workspace.
I want to have workspaces with constant names, therefore when I am moving between workspaces, its easy to recognize which is which. The default workspace seems to be the only one that inherits the title of the active tab. (For example right now the workspace name is ' Desktop Feature Request'.
Can this be defeated somehow?
