Solved Netflix troubles Mac Os
-
I just installed version 6.0.2979.22 (Stable channel) (x86_64) and when I enter Netflix it automatically kicks me out, logs me out and every time I log in to Netflix again, the problem repeats.
The error Netflix is displaying is M7121-1331 which is related to a browser issue.
When I try to access Netflix with another browser, everything works perfectly.
-
There is a new update now (6.0.2979.23) that should resolve this for all users (once upgraded)

-
I also have the latest stable version installed like you. And I have no problems with Netflix.
-
I have the same issue as you. Latest stable version of Vivaldi on macOs Ventura. I've tried in a private window, no HW acceleration, and still no go.
Same error: M7121-1331
Works on Chrome
-
As of this afternoon, I am unable to watch anything on Primevideo.com on Vivaldi. Works fine on Firefox and Opera, not at all on Vivaldi.
Vivaldi 6.0.2979.22 (Stable channel) (arm64)

@Leisureguy Possibly related, Netflix issues on macOs:

Similar issues with prime video, possibly realted.

-
I reported it as a bug with reference "VB-97598", let's hope it gets fixed quick.
-
I also get no Netflix — Error Code UI3012.

@kfet Yep. Same for me: Error Code UI3012
-
- 6.0.2979.22 (Stable channel) (arm64)
- Mac M1 Ventura 13.2
I also get kicked out from Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Netflix send me the E-mail about "A new device is using your account", even I tried to login and watch lots of times in same Vivaldi browser.Try access from Vivaldi guest account but the same, no.
Try allow the cookies but the same, no
Try stop using google extension but the same, no
Try Using Chrome(original) but the same, no
Using Safari, yes. -
Yup! Amazon Prime Video is down...for Vivaldi.
But it works fine in Chrome...
Re-launched Vivaldi; still doesn't work. Oh, well: Gotta re-boot the machine, as per Prime's instructions.
-
Problem persists... In latest snapshot, too.
-
Prime video fails to play in Vivaldi even with cache cleared. It also fails in private browsing and with hardware acceleration disabled.
Safari works fine.
-
So I've also been having a problem with a bug on Netflix UI3012.
-
Same error as OP. Initial error was M7121-1331, but subsequent errors were just immediate logout of netflix. Clearing cookies & cache didn't help.
I'm also unable to play the protected videos at the test page—https://demo.castlabs.com
Chrome works fine with both
-
Same here, affecting both Prime and Netflix.
-
Same problem in Disney+. When trying out demo.castlabs DRM video, I get such error message: "FATAL Clpp-Error [Category 6- Code 6007]: Error while fetching license by FATAL Clpp-Error [Category 1 - Code 1001]..."
-
Chiming in to confirm I am also experiencing the same with Netflix, Prime, etc.
- MacBook Pro 16" M1
- macOS 13.4 (22F66)
- Vivaldi 6.0.2979.22 (Stable channel) (arm64)
-
I have the same problem. Besides, I have problems with other multimedia websites, for example, Spotify and Disney+.
For Spotify, the weird thing is that whenever I choose a song, it will automatically play another song which is 5-6 songs down to the original one. In addition, the song only plays for 9-10 seconds, and then the music will be muted and nowhere to be recovered unless I reload the whole page.
For Disney+, I can log in to the page, but I can't playback any video. It prompts "error 83" every time.
Finally, I have also checked Youtube, and it works fine without any problem.
Does anyone know the reason?

For your case, you may try the following,
- go to vivaldi://components
- look for an item called "Widevine Content Decryption Module"
- click "Check for update"
- Try the test page again.
In my case, I can play on the test page, but with problems on Netflix, Spotify and Disney+.
