Vivaldi Linux installed to solid state drives sometimes not retaining e-mail account passwords
-
I have been trying out other Linux distributions installed to multiple external SSD's and a thumb drive, to find that Vivaldi Stable and Snapshot are sometimes not retaining e-mail account passwords between sessions.
I have Debian installed to an internal HDD in the desktops and this isn't a problem, 100% perfect, only occurs on internal and external solid state drives and a thumb drive.
The drives are a Samsung T7 500GB, onn (Walmart U.S. electronics brand) 250GB (Fedora installed on both) and a SanDIsk Cruzer Glide thumb drive 128GB (Ubuntu is installed). As these are all brand new, I am going to assume that they are actually USB 3.0 drives, but they are plugged into a USB 2.0 port.
Even if they are technologically slower than the internal SATA drives, exiting the application for 5 minutes, should be more than enough time for the application to save what it needs to save to the drive, then gracefully exit. It shouldn't matter what type of drive software is installed on.
I would like to know if anyone is seeing anything similar to this.

I reported this as a bug yesterday (VB-97683, currently unconfirmed), but this has been going on since I started using the external SSD's almost two weeks ago.
And last night, during a Vivaldi Snapshot session, I noticed it lost the passwords during the same session, which had not occurred prior.
