Status Bar's Clock Missing
-
After the newest update that pushed out Workspaces, I noticed the clock in the status bar was missing. I use it for alarms and no amount of toggling the status bar on/off, restarting, etc. seems to work. There's definitely enough room; it's just missing. Does anyone know what to do? Or do I just have to wait for the Vivaldi team to fix it?

I don't use the Status bar at all, I have put all the icons in the Addressbar and hidden the Statusbar (eventual links appear in a small Popup). The status bar in Vivaldi thus does not conflict with the Windows taskbar when using the maximized browser, apart from the addressbar the icons are easier accessible for me.

@luetage Thank you for the video! I saw the same help page before and it seemed that nothing could be done if the clock wasn't there. Right clicking worked on the Status Bar too and let me drag the clock to where it had been. Thank you so much!

@Catweazle The Windows taskbar was visible in my screenshot only to denote that directly above its clock was where Vivaldi's was for me. I appreciate Windows has a Focus Mode and a timer; I just prefer Vivaldi's clock alarms. I am glad what works for you works for you! Thank you anyway.

@tadghcr, my Windows Taskbar is autohiding to have more space in the screen, because of this when I go to the Vivaldi Statusbar a little too down with the pointer, the Windows taskbar pops over the V status bar. That is what I mean with the conflict and why I hide the V Status bar.
Anyway I don't understand why your Vivaldi clock don't appear -
@tadghcr
Hi, open the Toolbar Editor, change to Status Bar, drag the clock into the Status Bar:Cheers, mib

@Catweazle ah okay I understand now. I know I have an issue with Win11 and windows resizing to be approximately the height of Vivaldi's Status Bar above the Windows Taskbar if they're unused for awhile. While I keep mine pinned and you keep yours autohide, I wonder if that's a related problem/part of the problem you're having?

@tadghcr, it's not a problem for me, I see it as an advantageous configuration, only autohiding the Windows Taskbar and eliminating the Vivaldi Statusbar permits me to use the whole screen for the Browser. The Windows Taskbar only apears when I need it, without covering anything.
