Screen Capture + Full website address?
-
I am wanting to take a screen capture of a portion of the webpage and save it to my local folder with a FULL PATH to the webpage. I have my hotkey set for the Capture Area to File as I only want a 'portion' of the screen, not the whole webpage. When I capture it, it only gives the $host in the filename. In the 'Capture File Name Template' There are some preset options, none of them being for a full path and when I try to include my own $path in the name it doesn't format it to path it just puts "$path" into my filename. Is there a solution for this that anyone knows of?
I noticed that if I create a 'Vivaldi Note' then use the screen clip tool within the Notes tab it will import the full path into the note but that isn't exactly what I want, preferring the 'image' to go straight to a local file. As well as there is no option I can find that would allow me to 'hotkey' the clip screen area directly within the 'Vivaldi Notes' section. Instead I have to 'create note' (which I understand I CAN hotkey this part) but then I have to manually go to the Notes panel and mouse click on the 'Add capture of selected area..' Icon, then further have to click to specify JUST an area.. which is too many 'clicks' and again only saves it to a 'Note' not to my local folder. SO that is not the solution I'm looking for.. however, I MENTION this to note that within that 'capture tool' it will import the ENTIRE URL of the page I captured from..

@Apocalypolitics
$path
is not an option, therefore it doesn’t work. Create a feature request and ask for inclusion.
