you can't edit urls from history/bookmarks, it just resets the url
I will try now in bookmarks editor or panel? The property url? Yes, is broken too

In the address bar, kind of tricky to reproduce but annoying when it happens. Just try getting some history by typing say "wiki" then try to edit part of the url. It will reset back to "wiki". I'll try to get a recording.

@Pathduck Yes, please report the bug to tracker! I will confirm.

But it's OK, I can deal with it without going all ragequit stylee
That is not how posters in this forum are supposed to act!

@DoctorG
VB-94849
Takes a while for me as always - I must make sure to make a good reproducible report with a video

@Pathduck VB-94849 was Confirmed by me.

Something else new in this snapshot I really don't like, makes it really hard to tell the difference between enabled or disabled site settings:
Versus the previous snapshot:
This is terrible UX for those with vision impairment or otherwise bad eyes.
But I'm guessing it's Chromium base code, so difficult to change.I made a report anyway:
VB-94859

Hi, some extensions not working is caused by a Chromium bug, the Service Worker stop working after some time.
Check vivaldi://serviceworker-internals and start the SW for your extension to test this.
Reported in the Vivaldi bug tracker as VB-94827.Cheers, mib

Thanks, thought you still do this.

This extension is broken with the latest snapshot

Unfortunately it seems this version broke video acceleration on my KDE Neon that I had managed to make work after so much effort. Had to downgrade.

I think there are too many criticisms in this picture. I think this is due to 110 versions of the kernel.
I think the VIVALDI team should consider returning to the previous kernel before the release of a new corrected version of the kernel. -
@kichrot
Hi, I guess this will never happen, the snapshot are there to get feedback from the user using an unstable, bugged version.
This is the sense of Beta software. We recommend Snapshots to developers and advanced users who want a sneak peak of the features we have in store for the final release, while at the same time being patient with us as we debug and improve further.
Cheers, mib

I did not write about the test version, but about the main release 5.7.
I believe that release 5.7 cannot be released with a core of 110, as this will create problems for many users and undermine their confidence in VIVALDI . -

That is the Snapshot version. The Stable version is 5.6.

The Vivaldi team is not going to release a stable release of 5.7???

@EricJH Wrong Win7+ version text Is fixed now.
See screenshot:
I noticed 5 minutes after I posted and decided to keep the post. I thought it was funny.

Only since snapshot 2914.3:
- gMail, pinned to the Panel, if I click on it with the usual left mouse click, it closes Vivaldi!
- I can still middle-mouse-click on gMail, and it does open as a tab
- I have a dozen other websites pinned to the panel, but they all work
- this occurs even after I restart V with all extensions disabled
(Windows 10, up-to-date)
Weird, or what?????
