      Dear all,
After the latest upgrade (to 5.6.2867.58, 64-bit), I started getting a mysterious error message about "vivaldi_elf.dll" being absent on the system. Although it's right there in \AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application\5.6.2867.58
The browser behaves pretty much okay regardless, except that I have to reload the page sometimes, and it's just plain annoying.
A fresh reinstall did not help, googling did not either.
      Anyone knows what it is?
      TIA

@Trueash Perhaps a security tool on your Windows blocking load of the DLL.

@DoctorG Thank you! I wonder why it would do that, but I'll check it. Can't think of any other reasons

@Trueash Is this a regular Windows? Which Windows version?
Seems you have a broken installation.

Try a uninstall without deleting browser data and reinstall with installer program from https://downloads.vivaldi.com/stable/Vivaldi.5.6.2867.58.x64.exe

Antivirus or similar security apps can have outdated block-lists and sometimes have bad malware detection.

We do not know what you have installed.
