Add Proxy support
-
Please, add proxy support. Desktop version has it, why mobile can't to?
And don't tell me that "it's impossible to implement on mobile", when Firefox Android has one.
Is this a mobile chromium engine limitation?

@TrueDarkSlayer , I don't know, but meanwhile it maybe implemented, I use InviZiblePro in my phone, it use among others, DNScrypt proxy (apart Quad9 DNS)
(In the PlayStore, but better download it from F-Droid) -

No limitation.
Bromite, /e/ browser, Kiwi and Lemur (with extension), Opera - many chromium-based-browsers have a built-in proxy engine or support for extensions that provide proxy functions. -
@far4
These browser are Chromium forks and mostly outdated, Opera have the resources to maintain a fork of Chromium, the Vivaldi team have not.
The next Vivaldi 6.1 is around the corner and is updated to Chromium 114, where is Kiwi?
We all hope for extensions for Vivaldi but this happen if the Chromium developer add this feature.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin These forks are not so outdated that it is impossible to study and use the accumulated patches and technical knowledge. Kiwi - the developer activates once every six months when work accumulates. Now he has stopped at version 112 - a completely relevant result! So far relevant. Lemur and its Chinese developers use the 110 version - including for daily beta. Well, hoping for the developers of Chromium means not to have either proxy or extensions for another 5 years with a probability of 95%.
