Solved To delete all feeds
-
I have about 500 feeds that I want to delete, but in the feed settings I can only delete the feeds one by one. Where is the feed folder in the personal profile, so that I can delete all feeds at once?

@stardepp Just hold down the delete key. There is no warning dialog; the feed is immediately deleted.

Yes, that works, but with your suggestion I still have to delete all feeds individually, as I said I want to delete all feeds completely at once.

@stardepp How long did it take you to write these two forum posts?
I deleted 15 feeds in 2 seconds by holding down the delete key. At that rate, it might take a whole minute to delete 500 feeds.
20 minutes passed by already.

Still I would like to know where the feed folder is

@stardepp So many feed sources? 500?
I couldn't find any local feed folder. I guess it is within
/home/<USER>/.config/vivaldi/Default/Preferences
.
And that file can't be opened.
I deleted it a while ago for some other reason and crashed my whole Vivaldi installation. There should be a request to store the feed entries in an extra folder.

@Dancer18 Feed entries are not being stored in the preferences file. With a proper text editor you can open that file. Feeds are stored in the mail database I think.
edit: I just checked, feeds itself are in the preferences file, feed entries are in mail.

@stardepp So many ways to skin a cat. I did not think to look there.

@stardepp Congratulations!
I had to accomplish a similar task after over 200 new feeds had accumulated. I didn't want to delete the sources (at the moment I have only 3), but their periodical feeds of the last days.
At first it seemed that I could not delete them all at once.
I selected all of them and pressed the remove button.
Nothing happened.
Then I found that after marking all the feeds I could remove them by clicking on the trash. -
