Extensions denied access to audio
-
I use music detection extensions like, AHA Music, Shazam to find songs in any audio playing. I just recently started using Vivaldi and since switching all my extensions that use browser audio have not been working.
AHA Outputs the message: “Your Browser Can't Record Audio”
and Shazam infinitely attempts to find the song.

I should mention I've tested the extensions in other browsers to make sure it's not on their end; the extensions still function properly in other browsers.

@LunarOccultist
Hi, no idea if you can get these extension to work but I test AHA as web panel and it work out of the box.
Maybe take a look, it is one of the main features in Vivaldi:https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/panels/web-panels/
Cheers, mib

Both Shazam and Aha works fine for me, tested in a clean profile of Vivaldi 5.4 Stable, Win10 x64.
Doesn't look like there's any specific settings to allow this, works out of the box.
Please try all the troubleshooting steps, including testing in a clean profile and disabling extensions:

I've reinstalled Vivaldi, it works now.
