List view for Speed Dial

We already have list view for the android version but not for the desktop.

This list view could have a several modes:

favicons + site-name + url (just like on android version)
favicons + site-name
just a site-name
small thumbnails + site-name + url

We also could have:

maximum columns
categories for sites that you can reoder
font, size, colors settings
several default view templates

It could be something like this:

PS: I couldn't find a Speed Dial category in Feature Requests so FR in Themes...

Yup! I remember there was a "bugreport" about this feature, but I can't wait anymore

@Stardust I was a big supporter of the list view for speed dial and also for the tab cycler. Problem is on mobile you still get the thumbnail and I would expect the same thing would happen on desktop. You might want to go into more detail for your request.

Same! This could be the only reason to use Vivaldi instead of Firefox, because Firefox start page is on android and desktop.

I would like to see the ability to display Speed Dials in a more minimalistic version - List View.
Only, in contrast to the examples given by the author of the topic, I would like to see List View visualization, similar to the databases in Notion (notion.so), which have List View:

I wouldn't dislike something like explorers do (titles view)

Not too much minimal and shouldn't be extremely hard* to re-use most current speed dial code
Also would be already grid friendly, url may be easily editable, favicons or thumbs may be chosen, quick at foldering.
