Increase localStorage quota for websites
-
Firefox has an option to increase the localStorage quota for a site, however I am not able to find this same option in Vivaldi.
I regularly run into this 5mb localStorage limit when editing OpenStreetMap (https://www.openstreetmap.org) and it would be great to be able to increase this to 100mb for the site.

@CorruptComputer No chance. That limit was hardcoded by Chromium developers.

Well, that's dumb, thanks Google!
Looking at it, how much work would it really be for Vivaldi to maintain a patch to Chromium for this feature separately? IIRC they are already doing this with quite a few other things (the malware blocking extensions debacle comes to mind for me).

@CorruptComputer The Vivaldi team does not maintain such patches at this time, team is too small to remove Chromium such bugs - sorry, but they lack of human and financial resources.
Every version jump of Chromium core can cause such patch could be broken again.
I can not tell what is planned for future. -
