I'm confused by the large behavioural change for Feeds, afaict undocumented in the CL.

@guigirl I've got no idea of what channels are (youtube feeds only?), but for me the entries have not vanished from the panels (both the mail and feed panels still list them).
Are you not offered expanding the section when hovering it? Or do I miss something else?

After upgrading to Ubuntu 22.04, my tab bar and address bar are missing. I've toggled the settings, restarted. Reset all settings and everything in between. Thoughts?

Thank you! Now my original mystery, thanks to your clue, is replaced by a new mystery. I tested in my virgin profile:

...in which, plainly, the expansion icon appears on hover.

So then i returned to my Default profile & looked again... still not there [with RHS Panel]. Next i moved the panel to the LHS, like also in my virgin profile. Confusingly, still no icon appears upon hover:

I surmise that the panel list is collapsed atm, hence i cannot see all my channels/feeds/wotsits, but the worrying aspect is that without the icon i cannot expand it. Clicking all around the area it should be, makes no difference.

Dear oh dear. I wonder if one of my mods has done this? All was well, re this issue, til this new Snappie.

Are custom searches using POST broken? When I try to use one it just jumps focus to the search field on the new tab page.

Confirmed with a new profile.

@guigirl: It works as expected in a clean profile. It just seems something is irreversably corrupted.

This snapshot added the search field to the address bar and I cannot find any option to remove it. The option in the search settings is gone.

Nope. Even with all my JS & CSS mods disabled, my Default profile still fails to show the expansion icon on hover... yet my virgin profile behaves.

Yay, another broken Default profile with 5.3.2669.3. Tis all my dreams come true.

Now wait just a bleep blarp bloop minute. I just retested my virgin profile. Unlike my original tests of it several hours ago, now it also fails to expose the icon on hover.

It must be The End Days.

@guigirl I noticed the same yesterday, Feeds was starting blank and I had to go to the Mail Panel first and return for them to be populated. One needs to have the "Feeds" folder ticked for the Mail in the Settings, or via right-click on a Mail folder for the expansion icon to work, most probably a bug due to WIP.
