An Issue has caused Sync to stop working

The title isn't word for word since I don't have the message right now, but basically every few days vivaldi will give me that message which requires me to log into sync again and basically signs me out of everything. Does anyone know a fix for this and/or where I can find a log on the issue? Thank you

@kshivum Hard to tell. In my case I keep being logged in, even if sync shouldn’t be operational. Do you have the credentials for sync saved in the internal password manager?

I don't think so, I am saving the password but I am not directly using the built in password manager

vivaldi://settings/privacy, click on »show saved passwords« and look for the entryvivaldi://settings/sync. -
So getting the issue again today, I saw the error was failed to decrypt credentials

But that is not a sync issue at all because the downloaded data is decrypted locally, and decrpytion password is never sent outside.
Do you switch Desktop Environment or keyring manager or use Autologin? That can be the reason why you can not see your logins.

@doctorg So I did switch from Gnome to Plasma when reinstalled ubuntu but I think that was about a month ago, and in addition I think I installed Vivaldi on Plasma though. Autologin as in on Vivaldi like saving the password? Should I purge Vivaldi and reinstall?

@kshivum When you login to sync there is an option/checkbox to save the password. Are you ticking that?

Yeah After completely reinstalling Vivaldi I'm still getting the same issue randomly, however, can the issue possibly be network based? It only seems to happen when I'm at my apartment.

Joining. I also have same problem on one pc.
It's randomlly log me out. Usually after pc restart. But some times also just restarting...
Also have ticked to save password, but it's not helpingI have Gentoo Linux, Latest version installed: 5.7.2921.68
