Sending/Syncing Tabs between devices not working

Usually, I mainly used my Android in conjunction with my browser for reading. And sometimes I need to share links between the two,
which btw, an option to send link from browser to android is, if its available, greatly difficult to find. And no, the cloud option is a very poor annoying method of sharing links/tabs. Any help/advice for this is helpful but not the main goal, for now.
Its annoying and frustrating, but it works and I enjoyed Vivaldi enough to grind through it.
But around the past weeks, it completely and utterly failed.
The links I sent from my android to browser failed to appear when I open my browser.
The cloud button failed to sync and just now, only show a single tab out of several stacks and singular tab. And the tab that is shown, is the one I tried and failed to share previously, with an outdated device name (as in I change the name of my device)
And yes, I already tried logging out and in, it didn't work and it even messes up my bookmark and I need to rearrange it

this is an "old" issue, two months ago. A few threads explain details.
Solution is to delete sync data on server. -

Isn't there a problem in sharing (send) pages between devices? I can share between windows (Win7 64) and Android (10, 11). But it doesn't work the other way around.

Sorry, I should have probably mention that I already tried that and all it did is messes up my bookmark, again.
Delete sync data and logging out and in. Those are two of the solutions I have tried so far

Chiming in with Vivaldi 5.1 Desktop and Android, still can't send tabs across either way. Any progress on this bug?

@patrickweiden Confirmed bug is a cute way of saying "This functionality never worked properly, and we don't care."
This has never once worked the entire time I've used Vivaldi. It was one of the core selling points when you guys were first gaining traction. How can this not be a priority? -
Update: It seems Windows to Android does work, mostly, but Android to Windows is still lost in the ether

@pierric When I had such a problem, it said: update to a newer version. Everything was fine: Android 10 <-Linux mint 20.3

@personalproxy: I do not remember which version it was, but in my case sending tabs from Android to Desktop worked fine in some version. I do not exactly know when it broke, but I miss the functionality since some 5.x version, I guess...

Still doesn't work for me. Windows to Windows.

It is 2 months ago that I submitted a bug to Vivaldi team (Jira - VB-86760) but till today (after several updates of the browser), I never got any feedback and it is not fixed yet.
When I send a webpage to my other pc (always logged in and synced) I don't receive the notification anymore.
Is this a knowm problem or is it just not a priority?
I use(d) this feature a lot and I miss it.

@rydeck Your report is a duplicate of this bug: VB-86883 "Send tab to windows device does not send tab" - confirmed, but no progress for a fix.

I can confirmed it is broken in 5.3.2679.38.

@ThinkerBe: I used the Snapshot version, but as the problems were not fixed there I hoped that a new update to the Stable version would bring some sort of positive influence in this direction - hence I currently use stable version 5.3.2679.38, but as @DoctorG mentioned, I also can confirm it is still broken therein...
