Downloads -- remove item & delete file?
-
It looks like I cannot find how to remove item from Downloads and delete file in one step.
I know I can open file in explorer, delete it there and then remove the item from Downloads. However, this is a bit complicated process.
I do not believe it is not implemented in Vivaldi and this is pretty basic feature IMHO.
Could someone point me into right direction please?
Thanks.

@fifonik Hi, there's already a feature request on this, please upvote it:
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/24248/option-to-delete-items-from-disk-inside-the-download-panel
It's tagged as "pipeline" so I'm guessing they're aware of it, just haven't started implementing it yet.
Always a good idea to search feature requests.

@pathduck Thanks. I tried to search in feature requests first. Missed that one.

I have set up my own folder as the default to download files to. I was not aware until now that the files are downloaded to user/downloads (which I never visit) as well as my default folder which seems rather pointless. Yes, it is easy to delete them but it is an extra step and should not be necessary, Surely they should only go to my own defined download folder.

@davews Hi, this is nothing Vivaldi would do. In fact it's impossible for a file to be downloaded to two locations at once. Something on your system might be copying the files after they're downloaded or something else is very strange on your system.
What are your settings in Settings > Download?
