Discord Web-Panel
-
I don't know if it's just me, but whenever I add Discord to the web-panel, both "mobile and desktop" features feel weirdly similar because of how up-close the text/gui is. This is probably because of the web-panel design but I would like to see some features that can both benefit and improve the functionality for the general web-panel itself.
First idea:
- The ability to zoom in or out or change ratio size.
I think this is a neat thing, being able to change the ratio size of the appearance of Discord. It's sort of like how we have the default webpage zoom, but instead it's for the web-panel.
Image above is purely for example on how this might play in with the web-panel design and functions for discord users.
Second Idea:
- Or, have the web-page sync across to the actual tab-page itself. You're basically turning a tab-page into a web-panel, but the zoom feature becomes limited. I don't know about this second idea, since it seems like quite a stretch.
Normally for me, I use Discord Web integrated with BDBrowser (extension) and the appearance size is much smaller than what I see on the web-panel. Maybe these two features can be worked around somehow.
What do you guys think? Is this a stretch or unnecessary?

@alarkiusjay The general issue is Discord has no mobile version of the webpage, because they want you to use the app on mobile. They force it on users. Therefore Discord in a webpanel is very wide and you will need to expand the panel to maximum. I’ve written a userscript for this in the past, which makes it narrower. But all of this is kinda pointless when you come to realize you will be logged out of Discord whenever you toggle the UI, or add/remove another webpanel. Cookie whitelists don’t apply and password managers don’t function within webpanels. Because of these issues it’s a very bad experience running Discord in a panel. Until Vivaldi treats webpanels like proper tabs, I’ll continue running Discord in a tab instead.
