Change default engine for "Search for Image"
-
Currently, when you right click on an image and choose "Search for Image" it can only use Google. Not a lot of search engines support that feature, but Bing does and I would prefer to use that.

@thescorb0 , yes, it would be desirable, although Google can be removed from the contextual menu for image search, it cannot be added to another (according to my own experience, the best and most complete image search provides Yandex).
Therefore, until this is implemented, I use this extension. -

Does this means that request is done in the last snapshot? Or it is older but I've just noticed it?
-
@solidsnake It was introduced in last 5.2 snapshot but then removed for 5.2 stable because it was still in a "beta" state, now in 5.3 snapshot branch it got reintroduced and it will get some attention from now on. Hopefully more image searches can be added. For now only Google and Bing image search urls are possible.

Just wanted to let you guys know this feature has been added. I haven't been able to find it in any changelogs yet, but I think it was added in the 5.3 release. You can now add your own image search engine. Just head over to
vivaldi://settings/search/
and enter the information for your preferred (image) search engine. -
