Solved Dark mode for webpages
-
I just switched from Firefox to Vivaldi (their horrible Proton UI was the last straw) and the only big thing I'm missing is a dark mode for webpages on mobile. Firefox has a limited number of addons available on mobile, one of them being dark reader, which works very well for all pages I came across.
Vivaldi does have a Dark Mode, but it only applies to the app, not web pages, which makes it quite... not that useful. I would love for Vivaldi to have either a dark mode for web pages built in (like they did for adblock), or to enable the Dark Reader extension to work on mobile (like Kiwi Browser).

@btimbermont Go to Settings/Theme and enable »dark mode for web pages.«

@luetage I already asked this like many... But again
An option to toggle dark view for webpages in menu is necessary. As I need to go to settings and then find that option is a pain, especially when you consider dark mode is used in night

@lockrol An editable menu and toolbar would be the best solution, so users can give precedence to their preferred controls and settings. Personally I just leave dark mode on, saves energy. I don’t need quick access to it.

@luetage Yes! And it's pretty simple all they need to do is squeeze the option to menu !
and if anyone think it will overload the menu give the option to enable it in settings and turn it off for default

@lockrol You have written it in bold, now it’s surely gonna happen!

@luetage
And I added the layout myself for ease the developers (Just make it work) -
ok, wow, didn't see that setting.
But: WHY ISN'T IT TIED TO THE SYSTEM DARK MODE???
making a new ticket for that.
