Night mode with eye protection function
-
Hello, are you planning to add a night mode with an eye protection function?

@itsenkotimur “Night mode”, which is the filtering of blue light, should be handled by the operating system and not the browser, because you need it in all applications. You can set Vivaldi to dark mode however, which is an option in settings and will display dark backgrounds instead of light backgrounds on websites. A dark theme for the browser itself can be set as well.

I agree that Night Light (the blue light filter) should remain a system-wide setting because you need it for all applications.
I believe Night Light is available on Android phones starting with 9.0 Pie with the introduction of Digital Wellbeing. If your phone doesn't have that feature, there may be apps available in the Play Store to provide a similar function.
(System-wide Dark Mode started with Android 10.)
