I would love to see the feature as yandex have done . Click on the browser url box and they would open a overlay window for all speed dial tabs . so in that way any url we dont have to just type in any tab . Just check how yandex have implemented its really a handy feature while navigating through speed dials opening into an existing tab . or may be even a new tab also we wont need to have a speed dial page like that . its a really an earnest request please include that feature .

It would be awesome to have some kind of bookmark stack.
Meaning you can create one-time bookmarks to come back to a site at some later point, but once you used the bookmark, it deletes itself again. This would a great thing to ease longer research sessions. -

I wish there was a simple way to save a whole page as image.
Also the screenshot that can be added to notes is useless to me because it is only the visible portion of the page.
Ideally bookmarking a page would save a copy of the page locally either as an image or as html or both.
I miss the F12 menu offering quick access to options and the possibility to disable javascript
I hope the live editing of a webpage from source that was in opera will be back in vivaldi, this is an invaluable feature !

Building code for screenshots in a browser is a waste of time. This is something that should be part of the OS, or a utility that runs when the OS loads, like FastStone Capture. A dedicated application has many more features than a simple PrintScreen, and can be used to take screen shots of any application, including browsers. Why duplicate code? Once for Vivaldi, once for Firefox, again for IE or Safari?
Windows 7 has a built-in clipboard utility for simple screen shots. FastStone can do more, e.g. capture a scrolling web page, add annotation before saving it, save it in different image formats, etc.
Capturing screen shots is not the job of a browser. Save as *.mht is more useful for saving web pages, as it saves active links, and readable text.

Quick search shortcuts are a deal breaker to me.
Like ' and / in Firefox. It's critical a key for links only quick search. I wouldn't like to use a mouse at all, I want to press a button, type a string, search automatically for links and press enter or ctrl-enter to open that link in the same tab or a new one. I would be great if a feature provide me a way to open links embedded in buttons that are not text searchable. I also would like to see full shortcut customization and directional focus features.

Yes, this is a very high priority for me. This was the #1 reason I started using Opera years ago. (Of course it wasn't long before I had dozens, if not hundreds, of other reasons!!! :))
I would also like to see an option to Save as .txt for all web pages (not just text pages).

first off, thanks to the support on FB and the email, couldnt register and kept on getting flagged as spam. wondered why it took so long to receive a response but then i realized i sent it on a friday
huge kudos to the vivaldi team for pioneering (again). im hoping you guys can make an all in one internet suite, with of course an option to download/install individual 'expansions'. the all in one has everything (browser, email client (multiprotocols), feed reader/downloader, chat (hoping you guys combine pidgin) and whatnot) and indivual components are also available as standalones

its like magic, period. it mainly appeals to power users though, but once someones used to it they too cant leave it out. trust me, i forced a few of my friends to use it ;P
if possible remove the tab image and add it as a popup when hovered. attached a preview of how chaotic my browsing can begood luck on vivaldi, hoping some people like my suggestions been reading a few pages then decided to jump in

Loving this new browser that I wonder will be a new competitor against Microsoft's "Spartan" browser, which I'll obviously take a quick peek at, as well as being against the big names out there now. Like Opera (or the more later versions), it does kind of feel like a Chrome copy, from the accepting of Chrome extensions to each tab and extension having a process in Task Manager, but it just feels like a new browser to play with that I'm not that familiar with.
That being said, unlike in pretty much most browsers, this one seems to be missing a feature that's related to the tab behavior. That feature is having a new tab open in the background. In most browsers, the default behavior of right clicking a link and clicking Open link in a new tab does the action, but doesn't make the user go to that link. The only other browser that I've seen that does the same behavior as Vivaldi does now is the mobile Safari app on my iPhone. I mostly benefit from this tab behavior describing when I'm on the front page of some news page or on Twitter and want to view individual articles in new tabs. What sucks is that I have to click back to the first link, or use the Cycling Tab Feature by pressing 1 for forward or 2 for backward.
Another feature, or rather, or option in tab behaviors, that seems to be missing is one related to closing tabs. Right now, if I close the one I'm currently on, the browser takes me to the last tab I was on rather than the one to the right of it. This and the feature or option in tab behavior in the paragraph before work well in letting me go through a number of article or websites with ease.
These two features, or options for tab behavior, may or may not have been posted in this thread or separate threads, but if they have, let mine just be another voice adding to the possibility of these becoming a reality in future updates.

Both open tab in background and tab close cycling order have been discussed many times already… so you can expect these will be fixed eventually.

Since there is a possibility to hide tab-bar, how about taking a step forward to bring back windowed browsing? Simple toggle to change tab-specific stuff to windows would do just fine. Like middle-mouse should open a background window instead of a tab etc. Currently using K-Meleon mainly because it has a toggle for tabbed browsing.
Windowed mode helps a lot if have lots of screenspace since can arrange multiple windows on screen and be more productive (yes I know I can manually make tabs turn windows, but it takes time and is annoying to do all the time). Also it saves little bit of horizontal space.
Hopefully you developers consider adding this feature, shouldn't be too hard to implement.

- on option to delete automatically all personal data on exit (chronology, cookie, password, and so on)

Like the tech preview so far. Looks promising. I have a feature request though. Basically I like the speed dials especially that you can create groups. However, when I research something, I usually have a bunch of links that I place on my desktop first. Later I will only bookmark some that I actually need and delete the rest. Right now the desktop is the only place where I can individually place some links and visually group (cluster) them. As I am visually oriented I very much prefer this to a list in some directory. It makes researching something much more productive for me. I would therefore request some sort of a bookmark pin wall where you can place some links individually. Like switching to the pin wall and drag and drop the url or the tab to place a bookmark. And be able to move them around freely. Maybe later have a context menu with entries like move link to bookmark-group and delete link.
Other than that the only features missing for me have already been mentioned. Mainly drag a tab outside the window and open it up in a new window. Also, have more space for moving the browser window. These are common features in e.g. firefox or chrome.

p.s. Do you have some sort of release date for a fist actual version (not a tech preview)?

Maybe I'm too old, but I adore solid win95-like design and hate "clean and modern interface". Is it possible to built-in "classic windows theme" without knowledge of CSS/JS from user side?
