No mails show (Cyrus IMAP server)
-
I seem to have the same issue. I configured one IMAP account but the Vivaldi Mail Window keeps telling me "no messages in this view".

@ichthys not too many:
Folder: INBOX Message 8,459 of 8,460
This is a Cyrus IMAP Server, so no Gmail or other fancy stuff. Maybe that's the problem. But I could set it up and it 'verified' ok. -
@gmg I cant see anything at all. The Mail window looks like this in my browser:
-
@ferdig Did you update? Do you see the mail panel in the left side?
-
@gmg I have version 4.0.2312.27. No I don't see the mail panel on the left, but I suppose you would have to add it specifically using the "+" button at the bottom. I can call the mail client via Tools -> Mail but can't get it to display my messages. It does communicate with the IMAP server though since it displays notifications like "finished indexing ..." on the bottom and I can cycle through folders using the back and forth arrows on the top left. It can even display the RSS feed I subscribed to. It just does not display any Mails or my folder hierarchy.
-
@Gwen-Dragon ok thanks, now I can see the mail folder hierarchy of my IMAP account. But I still cannot see any Mails upon clicking on INBOX or any folder beneath it.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Unfortunately no. Just tried all three of your suggestions. Still only displays the folder hierarchy but no messages beneath it. Maybe this is an issue with the IMAP server being used.
-
@Gwen-Dragon as I already feared that did not quite help. I'll leave it this way for now as I'm not desperate to get it to work. Maybe somebody with an account on a Cyrus IMAP server could try this out and see if it's reproducable?
-
@Gwen-Dragon It seems to scan all the folders but there might be issues with some of them:
