Print dialog Enable/Disable
-
Hello Vivaldians,
I switched from Android Firefox to Android Vivaldi and the issue I am facing here is that, I can't disable in Vivaldi Android print dialog. I want to be able print things without print preview. Just you click on print button and it should do the rest.
Any help how could I achieve that on Android?
Thanks in advance. -
@balabany Anyone here to reach me out and let me know if there will be such option like Firefox has? or if there is such option how can I find it?

Can you please add the Vivaldi, Android version, device name.Cheers, mib

@mib2berlin If you make such feature available you will get many users migrating from Firefox, because Firefox had a feature to use boolean to set print preview disabled or enabled, now their feature doesn't work including the print so many devs and users are migrating to alternative browsers. Currently, Vivaldi and Chrome are for this option available. However, Vivaldi needs to have feature to disable or enable print dialog. Basically, I want to use Vivaldi print (which is working fine now) and have ability to disable print dialog. As I will press print, it should be printing automatically without taking me to print preview page. This feature is very popular for high printing load tasks and for POS apps.

@mib2berlin can we have print preview/dialog disable and enable feature for the next update?

@balabany
Hi, i have no influence on it but you can make a feature request in the request area. If many user vote for it do you have the chance that it might be implemented.https://forum.vivaldi.net/category/136/mobile

I see, but forum isn't that active to measure the success of demand of such feature. Could you please try to reach out responsible people for adding features like this and suggest them? At least to be aware about the issue. Otherwise, people registering on Vivaldi forum are just mostly devs and not merely users (myself included), so adding this feature would attracted many users migrating from Firefox for now as they have temporarily stopped providing the same feature and print. I hope you can help us to bring up this issue to the particular people.
