Make Bookmark Dialog Resizable

Hi
I wish I could resize add bookmark window - the one that appears after you click on bookmark icon on address bar.
The upper part (name, url, nickname :), description) - this I wish I could hide/show with "hide/show" button since I hardly use it there.
The lower part - with all bookmarks folders structure/tree - I'd be happy to be able to resize it by draging corner so its easier to navigate to find the right folder for a new bookmark

I also would want this feature. The new dialog is great and finally allows for good bookmark management when you have maaany folders, but it's a little inconvenient since you see only 6 six folders from a list:

The upper part could be made more compact. The header with "added bookmark" could be removed completely I think, or replaced with a very smart font with just "bookmark" in case someone does not associate the icon with the idea of bookmarking. Right now the header is "Added bookmark" regardless of whether it's a new bookmark or it was added before clicking the icon, so word "added" is kinda pointless, as any bookmark must have been added at some point in order to exist.

Maybe something like that:

When you click on "details", that gray bar would expand to a box with "nickname" and "description" fields. And maybe throw URL there too, as in most cases you rather bookmark exactly the page you're on and you don't want to change the URL of the bookmark.

@mahuaer I use the Bookmark Bar, where it is easy to find the folder that I want.

• Use Add Active Tab to add the bookmark at the bottom of the folder

• Right-click to add a new bookmark after the clicked item

In my opinion, enlarging the dialog would not help much. If you have many nesting bookmark folders it is best to use the Bookmark Panel for adding, editing, and organising bookmarks.

A popup dialog that is liable to disappear if you click in the wrong place is never going to be the ideal solution, however well it is arranged.

@Pesala If you customize the theme, you can modify the style of this panel, which is also a good way to improve the customization ability.

@mahuaer You already have this in the Bookmark Panel: folder search, drag and drop to the found subfolder.

Expanding the Bookmark Dialog will never make it any easier than using the Panel, which uses the full height of the page, and more width than anyone could possibly need. Plus it can autohide when you have added the bookmark without even clicking on a button to save it.

With this CSS mod you can also reorder the form to the bottom or move the folder selection section to the top by follow instruction in Readme no.4.

@mahuaer If you know how to code CSS, then you can do a lot of stuff with Vivaldi's GUI. Then you can post it in the Modification forum & share it with the community!

@Pesala that's great But still "add bookmark" icon on address bar doesn't take you to Bookmark Bar but this tiny, hart to navigate window I wish it coud be resizable/editable

@Pesala It's all about the reduced amount of clicks/interactions. When one clicks the “Bookmark Page” icon in the “Address Bar”, one merely needs to click it once more to place it into a folder. Using the “Bookmark Panel” requires another key combination or movement of the mouse.

Did you check the CSS mod @dude99 mention?
If Vivaldi don´t implement a feature, implement it yourself, this one of the major features of Vivaldi.

I did check it, but it does it sync between clients?

If you meant the size of the popup, no.
The mod does not sync either, I have my .ccs files in a cloud folder.
All my 12 Vivaldi installs use this folder for mods, sync does my cloud service.
