Opening images in a new tab by pressing middle mouse button

Opening images in a new tab by pressing middle mouse button (AKA the scroll wheel) on "open image".
A very minute function, but is extremely useful for someone who works a lot with pictures/photos in internet.

@fyboch I don't understand why you would not use Open Image in Background Tab if that is what you want, or Open Image in New Tab.
Middle-click already works on linked images to open them in a new background tab.
-
@pesala It's already a reflex at this point. I've been using this small feature for almost a decade in firefox, so it's like a second nature when it comes to working with images.
-
@fyboch Vivaldi is not Firefox, and never will be.
If you want, you can edit the image context menu to change the order so that Open Image is at the top.

I understand that Vivaldi isn't firefox. (That's why I am switching browser) But this tine bit of functionality is, well... Not that important, but so frequently used by me, that it would be a bummer to lose it.
-
@fyboch You will have to be prepared for at least some changes if you switch browsers. In Vivaldi there is often more than one way of achieving the same aim, so just ask how to do it.
Feature requests can always be made, but most will never happen.
With 4,105 feature requests, and a small team, those needed by few users or difficult to implement may have to wait for a long time. Wherever you see that a feature is tagged as In Progress, it may get done this year rather than next.

Yes... I guess you're right. It still was worth a shot - maybe this feature was already here and I just missed it.
Well. nonetheless, I am still happy with the switch. new firefox updates made me cry,
