Solved How to enable password generator?
-
Is this what I need to enable to be able to have Vivaldi suggest secure passwords when creating accounts in websites?
Looking for a secure password suggestion feature like in Google Chrome.

This feature is currently dependent on Sync. The conditions for password generation to be enabled (as seen in @Pathduck's post above):
- Logged in to Sync, password sync is enabled
- Password saving is enabled
- Normal window (i.e. not private or guest windows)

Thanks for confirming, this may be a deal-breaker for me.
Just checked Google Chrome and it has "Suggest password...." when I right click on a Password field when creating accounts.

@Gwen-Dragon Not sure I understand this issue correctly, but I still have suggest password in Vivaldi, either by right-clicking in password field or for some forms (like Yahoo) auto-suggested:

I'm new to Vivaldi having just switched from Chrome. Password generation is an essential task and not having the function would make Vivaldi unusable for me. I do not get the "Suggest Password" options in password fields, including when I right-click. I have enabled the 'Show Autofill Signatures' flag as several people in the forums have indicated is necessary but it did nothing to enable password generation. There appears to be no other password generation flag available. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
