Personal experience with Vivaldi Browser and how to promote to use it with old computer devices
How is your personal experience with Vivaldi Browser and how would you promote (or ask) someone to use it with old computer devices they have and privacy concern minds?
I have used Vivaldi Browser many years ago when it was new in the market and kinds pretty loved it. But due to incompatibility and instability with old and older devices (PC, laptops) like random crashing, TOO much RAM and data consumption and heaving on battery. But now I want to know is it is right to use it now looking an android app has also come out thus best for cross platform users. What's your experience, suggestion and insights regarding this?
Thanks.

Hi,
For old Desktop Devices try:
- Create a CMD Line Switch ShortCut
--enable-low-end-device-mode
+ --single-process |--process-per-site
(Recommended) | --process-per-tab - Test which of those 3 is better on each System (*)
- Extension -
TabSuspender- Now TabDiscard- Despite the Default Hibernation, the Extension allows to keep them Sleep even when the Tab gains focus. Test which is better on each System
--
(*) How to - Replace
--profile-directory
Command--
"Off Topic Tip"
Follow the Signature's Backup | Reset link.
Take the opportunity to start a Backup plan and even create a Template Profile.

I've just recently started using Vivaldi's browser again.
My "new" system is a late 2012 Mac mini (refurbished), running El Capitan (...I tried High Sierra and didn't care for it). With 8 Gigs of RAM, 500 Gigs of HD and 2 TB of Time Machine backup, a nice HP V20 monitor and Logitech keyboard and mouse, it's a comfortable set-up for me.A few hours in, I have to say I'm impressed! Give me a week or two to put it through its paces...
In the meantime: Thanks to the Devs and the community for the polish and panache! -
