I'm no expert but it looks like there's some information missing or incorrectly formatted from those Atom feeds (or the information is there but Vivaldi doesn't see it)...
If you click "preview" instead of subscribing you get XML tag soup instead of a rendered index page...
Then when I looked for an example of Atom (since my feeds are all RSS) I found this page:
https://www.javarticles.com/2018/06/mule-atom-feed-example.htmland that led me to a working Atom feed:
https://www.javarticles.com/feed/atomWhen comparing the source of both I notice some differences, maybe the interesting one is that the Gradle feed starts with two blank lines - and it is marked as "text" in the developer tools (F12)... wouldn't surprise me if the blank lines cause the engine to think it's text.
-
Hmm, the two blank lines are likely the problem — see also w3 validator.
-
Oke, so the feed is incorrect. But then there is another problem: you can try to subscribe and the feed will be added to vivaldi://settings/rss/, and it is not possible to remove it (sorry if you tried to subscribe to this feed, you now have a ghost entry in your list with feeds ).
-
@MrBlueSky Replace the link from the ghost feed with a working feed link. Save. After updating you will be able to delete the old ghost feed.
-
@mottenmouse Oh smart, that works. Thanks!

I submitted a bug report: VB-75746.
