Vivaldi {and Chromium} brighten up videos in dark scenes.
-
I notice that I for example start a video that start with dark scenes, a few seconds after the video have started, it suddenly becomes little bit brighter.
That is not how the video is supposed to look, the creator made it how it is because it is supposed to loom that way.
How do you turn it off? Did not find anything in the settings. If you cant I might switch back to Firefox where it doesn't happen.
(I dont know if its related to me having 10 bit (8 bit+FRC) monitor set to 8 bit in driver settings) -
After a little bit of testing it happens in Edge running chromium too so its probably because chromium and not Vivaldi itself.
Still, can I fix it somehow?

Its none of the things you said.
I found out it gets fixed by turning "10-bit pixel format" in AMD settings.
I have no idea what it does as the display settings is still set to 8 bit.
(my monitor is 8 bit+FRC(aka cheaty 10 bit)) -
For some reason I only tested the browser flag force color profile sRGB and P3 and none of them worked. I now for some reason tried to force the one called "scRGB linear (HDR where available)" that I dont know what is, and it seem to have worked.
