Vivaldi improves tabs and media playback, adds sharing of URLs with QR codes

I've finally found out why this wasn't working for me:
"Open Pages in New Tab" was activated under Settings - Quick Commands.
Once I've deactivated that option, I am able to use CTRL + ENTER to have QC open my search queries in a new background Tab.But still, that doesn't feel quite right to me: Even with "Open Pages in New Tab" enabled, CTRL + ENTER should still open QC queries in a new background Tab. Maybe a bug?

@HellbillyDeluxe I have
Open Pages in New Tab
enabled in QC settings and it doesn't preventcmd/crtl+enter
from working properly. Then, it may be a bug.MacBook Pro Early 2015 | macOS 10.12.6 Sierra | Vivaldi 3.5.2131.8

"While some browsers strip down functionality, we do the opposite."
This is why I love Vivaldi! Now, if only we could get a second row of tabs...
-
@luetage: seems we have no choice in embracing it.

Would you please make the quantity of trash items customizable? Everytime I want to clear them, I have to scroll all way down to the bottom. Or maybe make the "Clear All" button always shown. Thanks.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Would still make more sense to show the โClear Allโ command in the โTab Trash Canโ menu customization settings, so people can move it either above or below [All Closed Tabs].
-
@Neur1n I submitted a bug report for this because it an accessibility issue:
(VB-75088) Closed Tab List is Too Long
Meanwhile, the Access Key "C" will clear all. Click on trash and press "C".
Vote for Option to Change Number of Tabs Shown in Closed Tabs Menu.

"Recently, some of you have been inconvenienced while playing premium streaming services like---"
You mean for many years?
This was one of the major barriers stopping me to switching to Vivaldi. I'm glad it's FINALLY resolved; just wish it didn't take so long to so.
Now if only the DirectWrite problem* got resolved.. I could finally switch fulltime and Vivaldi would be the best web browser that currently exists.
*DirectWrite rendered font causes me eye strain compared to GDI rendered font, but Google removed the GDI code path for it because they're idiots. The Chrome alternative I've used for the last 2 years (Cent) kept it, and is the only way I can tolerate text on websites. I don't know what it would take for GDI rendering to be re-implemented in Vivaldi, but I know Firefox still has it and it might be what I'm forced to switch back to once my old Cent version breaks enough.. Sucks so bad that so many things use Chromium and all suffer this problem because of Google's asinine decision to rip the deprecated code out when it caused no issues.

Hey guys, thanks for the update.
Especially the way the thumbnails for the stacked tabs are displayed is nice and more useable for the power user with lots of tabs. However there is no way to distinguish hibernated tabs among the stacked tabs.
Can we have dimmed icons for the hibernated tabs inside a tab stack just like typical tabs? Or at least use a slightly different background color for those. Anything to help us distinguish the hibernated tabs from others.
Thanks,
Iman -
