It's more than necessary if I want to replace Thunderbird by Vivaldi. Some tools should be achieved before adding new ones IMHO.

I am just starting to use Vivaldi as my main browser, trying to use European based software companies and services where I can.
Missing Contacts sync service is my #1 missing point.
Providing users with CardDAV service would be amazing. Thanks

@Topha Strong support from my side for this request: email, calendar and contacts integration would be a unique selling point for Vivaldi. I think it's a great idea to no longer have to leave the interface for such (largely web-based) services.
On a scale from 0 (very bad) to 10 (perfect), I rate the integration of the e-mail at 6, the calendar at 4 and the address book at 1. By the way: I'm not talking about Vivaldi Webmail (I have no need for another webmail provider) but about the client integrated into the browser.
