Finished a couple of times also. Not too sure what the meaning of the end is either. Would be cool if there are different endings for different results. Fun game anyway! Would like to see a couple more little games like this added in the future.

@matchstickman Another thing: I believe there is no real upper limit to the highscore, because shooting projectiles is worth something too, around 8500 points should be possible with near perfect play. Currently my highest is

@luetage Nice score! I had thought about that, but deliberately shooting the projectiles is a bit beyond my skill really! The other aspect in this game which I like - regarding going for the high score - is the bonus points you get for collecting the hearts when your life bar is full. Gives an added incentive to try not to lose any health along the way.

@matchstickman There are a few more tricks. Obviously jumping enemies instead of shooting them is worth more points. Moreover jumping empty lootboxes gives 10 instead of 5 points. But there is a bug, you can shoot the lootbox and drive right through it which gives the 5 points for shooting it and the 10 for passing it. You gotta shoot it very close though. With a filled lootbox that’s a maximum of 65 points.

Broke the 8k barrier
Wasn’t close to perfect and died a bunch. Maybe more than 8.5k are possible.

@luetage LOL, today I finally got (exactly) 7000; the 8th time I finished it (IIRC). Before I was long stuck at ~ 6500.

It has got an end because the map is always the same -
@QBot You could repeat a pattern indefinitely. The more I play it, I come to believe this game is circular in nature.

Played it through without losing a life for the first time. Was stuck on 390 for a pretty long stretch.

️ of course.It took me only 15 days to realise you didn’t even have to start the game. & it took so short just thanks to the fact you’d otherwise do the impossible; when falling there 3 times I had to use all the time it was in the viewport.

This even beats your past theoretical maximum! Might have to give this a blast again sometime, but I doubt I will get over 8000 too soon. -
@matchstickman I’m at 8660 right now with one life lost. There isn’t really a max score, but I guess you would have to play almost flawless to go over 8800. If we don’t find more tricks, breaking 9k would be pretty insane.

Just posted a new video on our Youtube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5R6mgt2NSg ) where I try out the Vivaldia game. I wanted to make a competition out of it, so here is a challenge for all of you!
Set a countdown in your vivaldi browser to 10 minutes and see how many points you can get in Vivaldia. After 10 minutes is gone, post your high score in here. You can try as many times as you want to of course, but I urge you to post for every round you do
(one round being 10 minutes).I'll let this go for a while, saaaaay out 2021. Let's see who can call themselves the big Vivaldia champion 2021!

The video is great and the challenge too, it’s all fine. None of us have recorded our attempts so far, although there are 1 or 2 videos out on youtube for the game last I checked. Anyway, we needed an official one, so thank you. The only thing I want to mention is that the Vivaldia game still has bad on screen quality currently. This is an issues since a few versions, which hasn’t been fixed yet. It used to be crystal clear on release, not sure what happened. It’s apparent in your video too.

I'm not good with twitch games, even though I've been playing video games since the 80s. So, I made a "trainer version" for myself to practice. I never would've even seen the end without it
