Well, that was a wild ride. Lost lives for no reason after surpassing my previous best mark and just randomly shot my way through to the end, certainly an adrenaline rush.
SPOILER—don’t read if you haven’t finished the game yet.
Anyone know what’s the meaning of the final animation? Vivaldia is apparently disintegrated by lasers and ported back to the Mesozoic? It’s puzzling.

Finished a couple of times also. Not too sure what the meaning of the end is either. Would be cool if there are different endings for different results. Fun game anyway! Would like to see a couple more little games like this added in the future. -
@matchstickman Another thing: I believe there is no real upper limit to the highscore, because shooting projectiles is worth something too, around 8500 points should be possible with near perfect play. Currently my highest is

@luetage Nice score! I had thought about that, but deliberately shooting the projectiles is a bit beyond my skill really! The other aspect in this game which I like - regarding going for the high score - is the bonus points you get for collecting the hearts when your life bar is full. Gives an added incentive to try not to lose any health along the way.

@matchstickman There are a few more tricks. Obviously jumping enemies instead of shooting them is worth more points. Moreover jumping empty lootboxes gives 10 instead of 5 points. But there is a bug, you can shoot the lootbox and drive right through it which gives the 5 points for shooting it and the 10 for passing it. You gotta shoot it very close though. With a filled lootbox that’s a maximum of 65 points.

Broke the 8k barrier
Wasn’t close to perfect and died a bunch. Maybe more than 8.5k are possible.

@luetage LOL, today I finally got (exactly) 7000; the 8th time I finished it (IIRC). Before I was long stuck at ~ 6500.

It has got an end because the map is always the same -
@QBot You could repeat a pattern indefinitely. The more I play it, I come to believe this game is circular in nature.

Played it through without losing a life for the first time. Was stuck on 390 for a pretty long stretch.

️ of course.It took me only 15 days to realise you didn’t even have to start the game. & it took so short just thanks to the fact you’d otherwise do the impossible; when falling there 3 times I had to use all the time it was in the viewport.
