Hi, I would like an option to disable auto-hide of address bar.
Auto-hide with bottom address bar on large device make 0 sense and it's even bit annoying.

      Thanks and regards, Deniel.

@avie there is still no option to do it 😔.
This would be such a simple to add to browser I'm really sad to not see this coming to my favorite browser.

Here an example how this can simply be added with probably two lines of code.

I'm not exactly sure when this option was added, but you can enable Always Show Controls in Settings > Appearance. Then the top and bottom toolbars will always be visible.

                  Hi @jane-n

Thank you for your reply. I am looking in the Appearance section and there is no menu item that says what you say?

I currently have the opposite problem, where I would like the UI (address bar and navigation bar) hidden on a long scrolling distance. This would be especially helpful for reading articles on websites that have an obnoxiously large menu bar. By hiding the Vivaldi UI on scroll, I can maximise the screen space to read.

It has been renamed to Show Toolbars While Scrolling.
Since you have it disabled, the toolbars should hide when you move down the page and appear again as you move back up.

Sorry, this is not the case. Any idea why?
Maybe there is something that is preventing the autohide function from triggering.

Video demonstrating the toolbars do not hide automatically on scroll.

@ant8672, no ideas at the moment. We'll need to investigate it.
