Duckduckgo Instant answers not working on Vivaldi?

TLDR Duckduckgo Instant Answers box not showing on the main results page on Vivaldi. Works on all other browsers.

As title says, search results that have an wikipedia answer doesn't show the information box in the main result page.

I do have the Instant answer setting On on Duckduckgo and I tested other browsers and it works on all except Vivaldi. Vivaldi and Firefox both have my identical custom settings on Duckduckgo and customisation for each browser. Vivaldi Snapshot and all others are on default settings except for setting DDG as default search engine. Some examples

There is the 'About' tab on duckduckgo results on both Vivaldii that shows the instant answer box but I have to slide to show it and tap it, which completely defeats the purpose. It's not such a major issue but it is very annoying specially knowing that it works everywhere else except specifically for me and that most of the time the info that I am looking for is right there on that box.

So anybody else has this problem? Is this a settings thing, a bug, or is it by design? What can I about it?

[EDIT] Just updated to V ver: 3.3.2022.23 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Now I get no Instant Answers regardless of settings profile (default or custom).
Not a huge issue for me.

I thought so too.
But already tried with fresh install and without custom settings in duckduckgo and it is the same. Whatever combination of browser, browser settings and DDG settings always gives me the same result.
I was thinking that maybe DDG runs selective test for some features and they are testing that 'About' tab with me? I dont think is very likely but I cant think of any other explanation.

Works for me, I just had to enable instant answers in ddg settings and save first, because at some point I disabled them. What’s your search engine url in vivaldi://settings/search/?

@luetage Yes, first thing I suspected but it is definitely on in the DDG settings. I have exceptions for everything also, not blocking cookies ads or tracker on the site.
As for the search engine url, I can't acces that URL that you mention, it says it's invalid. It redirects me to
chrome://settings/search/ and then ERR_INVALID_URL

But if is the search query URL what you meant, I dont think it matters since it's the same if I do the search from the address bar or directly from duckduckgo.com. Neither way I get the Instant Answer box.

Maybe the best I can expect is that there is a problem on their side since I cant seem to do anything about it

I see the same thing... no IA in Vivaldi, instead I get an About link that doesn't exist in Chrome.

Note though, this is only for that specific IA. Things like the calculator still show if I search for 8 mm = inch, so it just appears to be something DDG is doing to the page. If you even copy the URL from another browser and paste it in Vivaldi you get the same thing https://duckduckgo.com/?q=homs&t=samsung&ia=web

@BoneTone Exactly this! Some things work like converter and calculator, but most, like dictionary or everything from Wikipedia doesn't. Instead they appear in another tab in the search type categories, which is pointless in my opinion because they are not Instant anymore.
If this is some experiment or deliberate from DDG I think is very weird, I thought they got along very well with Vivaldi. Didn't they make and joint announcement recently about something I don't remember?
Anyway, good to know at least I'm not crazy and somebody else is seeing the same.

@ahmuro Go to the settings of Vivaldi and then go to Search on the left hand side. This is where you can view your search engines.

@luetage Ah sorry , you mean desktop. I'm talking about the Android Vivaldi.

I'm experiencing the same problem; but get this: DDG works like it should on another computer running the same Windows 10 Pro with the same Vivaldi version and identical settings. I don't have a clue why one works and the other doesn't.
