Disable 'Dark mode' for specific sites

Option to Disable the 'Dark mode for web pages' feature for specific websites from the 'site settings' page
Dark mode for web pages is a really useful feature on Vivaldi Android. But if there is an option to disable this dark theme for specific web pages is available on the site settings panel that will be great. Because some web pages that you may visit frequently can sometimes be unreadable with dark mode on.

I was looking for this feature too, and I just found dark reader extension. That was all we needed.
You can also try super dark mode and luna

Yes, please! I love the native dark mode function, you don't lose any speed rendering pages, but there are some sites that just don't look right in dark mode.

Agree with the OP about this. It'd be good to have a per site enable or disable website dark mode.
Failing that, the very least could be a toggle option to turn off dark mode via the context menu when you press the Vivaldi button. At least that way it'd be near to hand without having to navigate to Settings each time.

Dark Reader works fine, though that doesn't work on mobile, since Vivaldi on Android doesn't have any extension support (though it would be nice if it did).

Came here to find this - all I want is a quick toggle for dark website mode, like in Samsung Browser (NB I prefer Vivaldi for everything else). How can one tell whether this is in the works? Can't see 'Pipeline' or 'Under consideration' or anything here....

@AdamF2 , you can use the Invert Filter in Page Actions, in webs where you don't need the Dark Mode.

Thanks!
Doesn't quite restore normal colours, but definitely makes the occasional site which isn't working in dark mode legible. -
@AdamF2 , yes, it is not perfect and sometimes you have to put several filters, but luckily it only happens in a few places where Vivaldi's Dark Mode does not work well. This is also the case with extensions in Desktop.

This is a little old but I'd like to remind everyone about it. There are some sites on both Android and Desktop that don't work well with Dark Mode. Yes, I'm aware of various extensions that do this job to a greater or lesser extent, but they noticeably slow down the rendering of a page. I'd also like to have a fairly convenient way of switching this on and off without having to go into the settings (especially on Desktop, you have to go to vivaldi://flags/#enable-force-dark to change it globally).
I'm aware that this is the Mobile area, but I'd like this in both Mobile and Desktop.

Does this now work on the latest snapshot? https://vivaldi.com/blog/mobile/android-4-4-2481-4/

@lonm Yes it's working like charm!

@lonm Nice jobs y'all

So it looks like this is fixed in 5.0 on Android. Thanks to everyone involved. It would be nice to have the same functionality on desktop.
Does anyone know how Vivaldi implements Dark Mode on Android? Is it similar to the chrome built-in method (vivaldi://flags/#enable-force-dark) or is it some other way? The reason I ask is because I'd love to have this flag settable on a per-site basis in desktop and if Android already does this, then the code already exists and should be relatively easy to implement.
