Move "Open a new tab" button on the vertical tabs

Not to lie or shame but a new browser (based on firefox gecko engine just like vivaldi on chromium engine) floorp browser (based in Japan, small team) provided us the option on request (requested him last year and was told he will definitely add this) for vertical tabs and new tab button (see two types of new tab option button exists) (see highlighted).
Wondering what is keeping vivaldi at bay? Castaway? FedEx delivery package? (Cant even add via customizations, so unfortunate when working with multiple tabs open)
