Sort Bookmarks Bar by Date Created (Newest First)
-
I looked through all the suggestions and found a few that were similar to this but none that were this specific idea. When looking at options to sort the bookmarks bar itself, it says 'Date Created' but does not give a direction. I assume that it would put the oldest first if this were selected (please correct me if I'm wrong; I don't want to try it and not be able to undo what it does). What I would like is for the bookmarks bar to have the option to sort with the newest bookmarks first.
Also, unsure if this already possible, but if you sorted them by date and then switched back to manual sorting, it would still add the newest bookmark to the front of the bookmarks bar. I use bookmarks as placeholders for things I'm currently researching or doing to avoid having a million tabs open at once, and the browser putting the newest bookmarks at the end of the bookmarks bar is very tedious.
I'm coming from Internet Explorer and I love how the favorites bar works in IE and it's one of my last reasons for not switching away completely. That and having multiple home pages, but Vivaldi's Speed Dial is the most similar feature I could find to that---which is why I chose it.

- Changing Sort order does not change the manually sorted order, so you can experiment without any concerns
- There is an option for Ascending or Descending order
- Add Active Tab adds at the bottom, unless you use sort order by date created, descending
- If you sort manually, right-click on an opened Bookmarks Bar folder and add the bookmark after the selected one.

@rubytook This should already be possible. Please check and confirm.
