Feature Request: Save a complete web page (as curently displayed) as a single HTML file
I hope that vivaldi can provide the function of "save webpage as a single html file".
I have a habit of saving web pages because the web pages provide valuable things, and the web pages may be stopped for some reason.
I don't want to use the save webpage function(ctrl+s), because that is saved as a folder, I only need a single file, because I usually save an article, and I don't want to find the html file in the folder when I review it.I also don't want to use the print to pdf function, because there will be various compatibility problems, which will cause the printed pdf format to be disordered and unreadable.
What did you expect to happen *
I hope vivaldi integrates a function to save web pages as a single file.
You can save the web page as a separate file, such as an html file.I am currently using Save Page WE, you can click on the link to understand the function of this plugin and understand what I want to express.
Save a complete web page (as curently displayed) as a single HTML file that can be opened in any browser.vivladi can provide a better experience, as the browser directly parses the structure of the web page, and then outputs a better web page to save as a single file.
I made a comparison chart.
Save page we save the page effect is almost the same as the original.
On the left is the original web page, and on the right is the effect of save page we saved as a single html file.
I hope similar functions of vivaldi integration can refer to such an implementation. If you have better ideas, welcome to reply exchanges!

@poto What is wrong with save page as a single *.mhtml file?
-
@poto If you use the drop-down to save it as an .mhtml file, does that do what you want?

I now know that it can be saved as mhtml.
I searched for mhtml and it seems that it can be set as the default save file type?
I can't find what the picture says of save page as mhtml
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MHTML
I don't want to manually select the type of file to save every time, save page we only need to click once, which is very convenient.
